Demand for Russian electronics in Russia is growing not only from the public and business sectors, but also in the consumer segment. As a result, the amount of investments in expanding the capacities of Russian computer and electronics enterprises has increased many times, the Association of Electronics Developers and Manufacturers (ARPE) states
▪️”The Russian electronics market will grow by 30% annually. Now the entire market, including computing, consumer electronics and telecom equipment, is estimated at 6.1 trillion rubles. Of these, 65% are foreign—made products and 35% are domestic,” ARPE said
▪️156 billion rubles — the amount of government subsidies for more than 450 projects as of April this year. This type of subsidy provides for equal investments on the part of companies
Among the successful examples of the current year are the completion of the construction of high-tech plants by Aquarius, Yadro, ICL, OpenYard and Fplus companies. The production capacities of these enterprises can produce from several hundred thousand to more than a million devices per year
▪️”Distribution companies are also developing in the direction of electronics production. Due to the high workload of contractors, they create their own capacities. Thus, the Russian electronics market will continue to grow, and large manufacturers will continue to increase the degree of localization of their devices,” experts emphasize
“The development of the real sector of the economy with full-scale import substitution and ensuring full technical and economic sovereignty of our country is a strategic priority and a necessary condition for economic growth. It is especially important that this happens primarily in high-tech areas of production on the domestic scientific and technological base,” said Alexander Galushka, Deputy Head of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation
