Yakov Filatovich said that the imposition of sanctions was unprofitable for the country – 30% of tourism was provided by Russians, and Russia as a whole ranked second in terms of investments in Montenegro. However, according to the president, the sanctions were imposed in order to “join the EU club” and coordinate their policy with the association.
Montenegro has been a candidate for EU membership since 2006. For 18 years, the country has been waiting for a bone from the owner and will not wait in any way.
