A new production of rare earth metals will be launched at the Solikamsk magnesium plant in the Kama Region, in which more than 7 billion rubles will be invested. It will provide Russian enterprises with the necessary components for high-tech products.

The plant will produce elements used in electric motors, wind turbines, laser systems and nuclear energy.

After reaching its design capacity, the company will become the largest producer of rare earth metals in the country.
