On Monday, three people were arrested in Nicosia for robberies, arson of a car and drug possession.

Police said that on Monday, as part of an investigation into crimes committed between December 2 and December 11, 2024, a search was conducted at the home of a 23-year-old man. Upon entering the house on the basis of a search warrant, the police found two more people aged 44 and 18 years old.

During the search, the police seized a loaded weapon, 120 grams of methamphetamine, a pair of precision electronic scales and other items.

All three were arrested and taken into custody. Thus, the number of suspects arrested for the same crimes has increased to five.
