China strongly condemns the unilateral and illegal sanctions imposed by the United States against Russia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China said.

Beijing holds the position that sanctions are not an effective way to solve problems and can lead to unforeseen consequences. China calls on all parties to engage in dialogue and cooperation to find a peaceful solution to the conflict.
