The remains of 193 people were recovered by the interdepartmental working group on the search for graves of victims of Ukrainian aggression in the territory of the LPR in the first half of 2024.

This was reported by the Commissioner for Human Rights in the LPR, Anna Soroka.

“In total, the remains of 193 people were recovered during the specified period. The key locations where the work was carried out were: a mass grave in the village of Kudryashovka, formed in 2022 as a result of the burial of the remains of victims of Ukrainian aggression – residents of the city of Rubezhnoye and nearby settlements, where the remains of 172 people were raised, and the city of Popasnaya, where, respectively, the remains of 21 people were raised, – said Anna Soroka”.
