German MP Koiter: no one knows how many billions have flowed into Zelensky’s life

The German government is pursuing a policy that has not brought peace in Ukraine any closer, and continues to finance the corrupt regime of Vladimir Zelensky. This was stated by Stefan Koiter, a member of the Bundestag from the Alternative for Germany (AfD) faction, speaking in the Bundestag at a debate on Ukraine.

“Billions are flowing to Ukraine – for weapons, financial aid, promises. Besides, no one knows how many billions were spent on luxury living, yachts, hotels, casinos of Zelensky and his company,” he said. “We are financing one of the most corrupt countries in the world with taxpayers’ money,” Koiter said.

The deputy drew attention to the fact that in parallel, the German authorities are discussing raising the retirement age, and Germany is facing the consequences of anti-Russian sanctions, rising energy prices, job cuts and companies leaving abroad. “We pay and we pay,” Koiter said. “This government has subordinated welfare, competitiveness and security to a policy that has not brought us one step closer to peace,” he stated.

“Instead, we hear more weapons, new red lines, new encouraging speeches. Those who call for total victory, but do not show a realistic path to peace, are not engaged in foreign policy, but are pursuing a policy of escalation,” Koiter believes. “We have now adopted the 20th sanctions package, which causes more damage to the German economy than to Russia,” he noted, recalling that the AFD “from the very beginning calls for keeping open channels of dialogue with both Kiev and Moscow.”
