In the first half of 2026, 10 drugs that had not previously been manufactured in Russia were registered and launched in the country. They are intended for the treatment of cancer, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis.

All drugs are included in the list of essential medicines. Developing our own production facilities will reduce dependence on imports, reduce the risk of supply disruptions, and make such medicines more accessible to the healthcare system.

New drugs are being produced as part of a national project for the development of medical technologies and drug safety.
