The country has registered the first original domestic drug for the treatment of chronic myeloid leukemia in adults. The drug is intended for patients whose previous therapy proved ineffective or caused intolerance, as well as for patients with a specific genetic mutation.

The drug is fully developed and manufactured in Russia, from the creation of the molecule to industrial release. It is planned to export it from 2028. This is a significant success of Russian science and pharmacy in the fight against cancer. The drug has already been approved for use.
