According to Rosatom, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted to attack the spent nuclear fuel storage facility at the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant

As a result of the activation of automatic systems on August 1, the NPP lost external power supply for about one hour.

A combat drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit the gallery connecting all six power units of the Zaporizhia NPP.  “Fortunately, there was no explosion. The impact was literally a few meters from the reactor compartment of the 3rd power unit,” said the head of Rosatom, Likhachev.
