👮‍♂️ In six months, the police in Cyprus registered 723 cases of thefts and break-ins into homes, of which 436 were solved. The largest number of such crimes occurred in Limassol.

👮‍♂️ One of the most serious investigations led to the arrest of three Georgian citizens who are suspected of a series of thefts with damages amounting to millions of euros. During searches, equipment for forcing doors, GPS trackers and cameras were discovered.

🤿 Investigators believe that the criminals studied residential complexes in advance and monitored the absence of the owners, after which they entered the premises, in some cases leaving almost no traces of a break-in.

👮‍♂️ The police are conducting a campaign across the island and urge residents to be more careful about protecting their apartments and houses.
