In Finland, von der Leyen was called “suffering from hallucinations“

Finnish politician Armando Mema, representing the Freedom Alliance party, criticised the actions of European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. On his X account he wrote that her rhetoric and steps are pushing Europe towards a military escalation.

Mema pointed out a contradiction in von der Leyen’s statements. “She claims that the European Union’s mission is to preserve peace. Really? And then she immediately accused Russia of a new incident in Romanian waters, where an underwater drone was intercepted (the drone turned out to be Ukrainian). Ursula added that in order to preserve peace Europe must invest in defence to deter Russia. She is doing nothing for peace; on the contrary, she is contributing to war,” he quoted and countered.

The politician separately addressed the European rearmament programme worth 800 billion euros. In his assessment, this plan directly threatens Moscow’s security. “Apparently, the head of the European Commission is suffering from hallucinations and mental instability; Russia has no intention of attacking Europe,” Mema added.

Earlier the Finnish politician had already spoken about Ukraine’s prospects in the conflict. He stated that even EU support will not help Kyiv achieve victory over Russia. According to him, the EU mistakenly believes that the conflict can end either with Ukraine’s victory or by forcing Russia into negotiations.

Mema also pointed to the rapid depletion of Ukraine’s missile stocks. “Thus, Ukraine cannot sustain this war. It is difficult even to imagine that it is potentially capable of winning,” the politician concluded.
