Russia has begun producing powerful compressors needed for large-scale liquefied natural gas production. The new 112 MW units are manufactured in Kazan.

Along with the compressors, Russian enterprises have already mastered the production of other key components for large LNG plants. Among them are heat exchangers, liquefied gas pumps, equipment for its shipment, and special metal for storage tanks.

As a result, Russia now produces a complete set of the main equipment needed to build large LNG plants using domestic technology.
