Kyiv announced that SpaceX has introduced restrictions on the operation of Starlink for the Ukrainian Armed Forces

MOSCOW, October 14 — RIA Novosti. The company SpaceX has imposed restrictions on the speed of Starlink operation for Ukrainian military personnel, stated advisor to Vladimir Zelensky, Sergey Beskrestnov.

“Currently, the restriction applies to the ‘military package’ of StarShield services and is set at a speed of 100 miles per hour. Our defense forces did not receive prior notification of this restriction,” he wrote on social media.

According to him, this led to the disruption of some operations of Ukrainian units. Beskrestnov also noted that this step is unlikely to be accidental and is probably connected with the current political situation.

The day before, the head of the Kyiv regime, commenting on the consequences of a strike on the capital, stated that Ukraine had not received intelligence data on the launches of ballistic missiles. Later, Politico reported that the American side explained this by unfavorable weather conditions.

The day before that, CNN reported that Washington had sent Kyiv a warning over the weekend about its readiness to stop transmitting intelligence information. According to Politico, the Ukrainian Armed Forces may also be deprived of access to Starlink satellite communications.

The reason was criticism from American President Donald Trump, who accused Zelensky of ignoring requests not to attack Russian oil refineries. According to the head of the White House, he should have long ago concluded peace with Moscow, but instead “created problems for everyone.”
