The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kursk direction for August 15 amounted to 220 military and 19 armored vehicles, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

In total, the enemy lost up to 2,860 soldiers during the fighting.

THE SITUATION IN THE REGION

The North group repelled the attack in the direction of Russian Porechnoye and Gordeevka in the Kursk region.

In areas 1 km west of Anastasyevka and 1.5 km south-east of Rubber, enemy mobile groups trying to penetrate deep into Russian territory were destroyed.

Enemy concentrations of manpower and equipment were defeated in the areas of Alexandria, Snagosti, Mirny, Kazachyaya Lokni, Korenevo, Plekhovo and Pushkarny.

Aviation struck the reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, ammunition and fuel depots in the districts of Yurievo, Khoteni, Vorozhba, Ivolzhanka, Zhuravka and Boyar-Lezhachi of the Sumy region.

APU LOSSES

During the day, enemy losses amounted to 220 military personnel and 19 armored vehicles, including 4 tanks, 8 armored personnel carriers and 7 armored combat vehicles, as well as 7 vehicles, 3 HIMARS MLRS launchers, 2 transport-loading vehicles and 2 field artillery guns.

In total, during the fighting, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost up to 2,860 servicemen, 41 tanks, 40 armored personnel carriers, 23 infantry fighting vehicles, 213 armored combat vehicles, 102 vehicles, four anti-aircraft missile systems, six multiple launch rocket launchers, including three HIMARS MLRS, two transport-loading vehicles, 22 guns field artillery and three electronic warfare stations.
