According to the DPA news agency, the participants of the congress greeted Elsesser’s speech with applause.

During his speech, Elsesser criticized German Interior Minister Nancy Feather and called German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius a “war criminal.”

In July, the Compact magazine published by Elsesser was banned by the decision of the German Interior Minister after the publication of an interview with Maria Zakharova. The offices of the publication and the housing of its senior staff were searched.
