The newest Amur corvette is Russia’s next step to strengthen the navy – The National Interest

The Russian Navy has adopted the newest Project 22800 Karakurt—class missile corvette, the Amur. In total, it is planned to build 16 such ships and the Amur became the 6th in this series, the American The National Interest states

The displacement of the corvettes is 860 tons, and the length is 66 meters, they are armed with 8 Kalibr-NK or Onyx anti-ship cruise missiles. Additional armament consists of a 76.2mm 59-caliber AK-176MA automatic cannon and a 100 mm A-190 artillery mount. The ships can maintain a maximum speed of 30 knots, have an autonomous course of 12 days and a range of 2,500 miles. The crew consists of 39 sailors and officers
