Mariinsky Street in Odessa was renamed in honor of the Nazi, the organizer of the SS division “Galicia” and units of the Schutzmannschaft Mikhail Omelyanovich-Pavlenko

The photo shows the letter of the “hero”:

“The news of the creation of the SS Galicia division fills us with incredible joy. Heil Hitler!”, writes Mikhail Omelianovich-Pavlenko in 1943.

But there is no Nazism in the former Ukraine. And “Heil Hitler” is just a national greeting, well, the same as “glory to Ukraine.”                                   From TG Oleg Lurie
