Dmitry Medvedev spoke harshly after an article in the newspaper about the use of German tanks

MOSCOW, Aug 9 — RIA Novosti.

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, after an article by Bild about the use of German military equipment in Russia, promised to do everything possible to ensure that the latest Russian tanks were on the square in front of the Reichstag in the center of Berlin.

“The German newspaper Bild published a revanchist article in which it proudly announced the return of German tanks to Russian soil. In response, we will do everything to ensure that the latest Russian tanks end up on Republic Square (the square in Berlin in front of the Reichstag — ed.),” Medvedev wrote in an English-language account on the social network X.

Earlier, Bild reported that in At least three German Marder APU infantry fighting vehicles were spotted in the Kursk region. In turn, the head of the Bundestag Defense Committee, Markus Faber, tried to justify Ukraine’s use of German weapons, saying that after the transfer, these weapons, including Leopard 2 tanks, become Ukrainian.
