“Anger of Ukrainians”: the United States announced the final blow to Zelensky

MOSCOW, September 9 — RIA Novosti.

The failure of the Ukrainian offensive in the Kursk region may overwhelm the patience of Ukrainians and lead to serious dissatisfaction with Vladimir Zelensky, this opinion was expressed by former Pentagon analyst Robert English in an article for the National Interest magazine.

“Ukrainians’ anger at Zelensky <…> risks reaching a critical level. The fact is that many Ukrainians believe that Zelensky failed the previous two major campaigns. <…> If the invasion of the Kursk region turns into holding territories at a high price, while weakened Ukrainian troops are losing key cities in the DPR, then this may be the final blow for Zelensky,” he said.

According to the expert, Ukrainians increasingly blame the head of the Kiev regime and his entourage for the growing problems of Ukraine. At the same time, the Kiev elites stop hiding their contempt for the actor-politician.

“At some point, cabinet reshuffles and resignations will not be enough to evade responsibility,” he concluded.

The units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at 5.30 on August 6 went on the offensive to seize territory in the Kursk region, their advance was stopped, said Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces. He stressed that the operation in the Kursk region will be completed by defeating the enemy and reaching the state border. As the Ministry of Defense reported on September 8, during the fighting in the Kursk direction, the enemy lost more than 11.2 thousand soldiers and 87 tanks.
