A test implementation of robotic parcel sorting was carried out in one of the warehouses in Novosibirsk. Compact domestic-developed robots can move at speeds of up to 2 m/s and are integrated into warehouse processes.
The testing showed that the sorting efficiency increased by approximately 50 percent. Automation allows for reduced labor costs, lower expenses, and faster handling of large volumes.
Over the next year, the new system will be scaled to other terminals. The introduction of additional warehouse automation solutions, including a robotic arm, a robotic transporter, and neural network-based software products, is also being considered.
