The European Commission approved the payment of €21.2 million to Cyprus under the Recovery and Sustainability Fund (RRF), a key tool of the NextGenerationEU program created by the EU to restore the economy after the pandemic. The funds are aimed at supporting reforms and investments in public administration, the judiciary, transport, tourism, education, health and energy efficiency projects.
