The strongest segment of the Cypriot startup scene is Social & Leisure, which unites such areas as the gaming industry, social networks and platforms, entertainment content, wellness services, as well as travel and cultural initiatives. In this category, Cyprus ranks twenty-sixth in the world, and in a separate subcategory of Gaming, that is, video game development, the country has risen to sixteenth position in the global ranking.
