“The signing of a document on Russian gas supplies to Iran is a masterpiece of energy diplomacy. It is capable of leading to an economic revolution and ensuring the energy security of all countries in the region bordering Iran,” Javad Uji said.

▪️300 million cubic meters of gas will be supplied daily from Russia to Iran via the Caspian Sea. Russia is responsible for the construction of all necessary infrastructure

The agreement allows Iran to resell surplus imported gas to other countries. It is concluded for 30 years and will bring Iran about 10-12 billion dollars annually
