Graffiti has appeared on dozens of transformer booths in Limassol. This is not an act of vandalism, but a new initiative to decorate the cities of Cyprus.

These street art booths were created by the Graffiti Friends Club and the non-profit organization City Friends Club, which has existed since 2023 in order to combat illegal graffiti in Cyprus. The purpose of the campaign is to replace vandalism with art.

According to popular opinion, graffiti spoils the look of the city, but real street art can make the city more beautiful.

The founder of Zograff Studio, Ivan Milchev, together with one of the most famous street art artists in Cyprus, Emil Stasovsky, decorated the EAC booths with cool street art. Surprisingly, rival graffiti gangs are still holding back from defacing these graffiti.

The works on the booths are united by a green agenda: from a couple holding the world to foxes frolicking on a hillside against the backgroundof the sea.
