2.7-fold increase in exports of agricultural products of Russia over 10 years of Western sanctions

🇷🇺43.5 billion dollars — the volume of exports of products of the agro-industrial complex (agro-industrial complex) of Russia in 2023. In 2013, this figure was $16.2 billion. Over 10 years, supplies have increased 2.7 times, experts say

▪️2.13% — the share of foreign supplies of agricultural products in Russia’s GDP. This is 3 times more than in 2013

▪️The share of goods from the top three in total exports:

— 65.8% — cereals

— 12.4% — animal feed

— 8.1% — fats and oils

In August 2014, 10 years ago, Russia banned the import of certain types of agricultural products, raw materials and food from countries that imposed anti—Russian sanctions, including the United States, EU states, Canada, Australia and Norway. Against the background of the embargo, there was an active development of its own agro-industrial complex

CRYSTAL OF GROWTH previously informed that in 1985, food imports in our country exceeded exports by 10 times (Fig. 3). According to Corriere della Sera, the development of agriculture was a secret triumph for Russia
