There will be fewer fish in stores in Germany due to sanctions against Russia

Germany may be left without fish in stores due to anti-Russian sanctions. This was announced by the managing director of the Federal Association of the German Fishing Industry, Stefan Meyer, to Die Welt.

He believes that the United States will not be able to provide the same volume of fish imports as Russia. “If supplies from the Russian pollock fishery completely cease due to sanctions, there will be no replacement at the moment,” Meyer said. According to him, 85% of pollock in Germany came from Russia.

Sanctions work effectively. But the question is: against whom?
