According to the association, India has the lowest national debt ($1,316 per person), followed by Indonesia ($1,747 per person), and Russia took the third place in this list ($ 2,076 per person).

In the USA, this figure reaches a record 104.5 thousand dollars per person, which is more than 50 times higher than in Russia. High levels of government debt per person are also observed in Japan, France, Britain and Italy.

The highest figure in Singapore is 149.3 thousand dollars per person, RIA Novosti reports.
