The Municipality of Paphos is working on the project of the Eastern Linear Park*. It will be created between Paphos, Geroskipou and Konya: from the roundabout next to the Paphos — Limassol highway to the Limnaria area. The cost of the project is 9.2 million euros. The expense item includes the amount that will be required to be paid for the alienation of land plots.

* Linear park is a park in an urban or suburban area, the main feature of which is its elongated shape. Usually such parks are created along riverbeds, roads, canals or coastal zones.

On the territory of the 6.5 km long park, pedestrian and bicycle paths will be laid, outdoor exercise areas, recreation areas, children’s playgrounds and sports grounds will be created, trees and shrubs will be planted, flower beds will be laid.
