The country’s largest producer of raw milk, the Ekoniva Group, has launched the production of fully domestic cultivators (agricultural machines for tillage) in the Voronezh region. Next year, serial production of precision seeders should start.

The company plans to produce equipment only from Russian components. Until 2022, Ekoniva was the largest equipment dealer in Russia for the American company John Deere. The Russian side tried to acquire the plant of an American company, but the attempt was unsuccessful, after which it was decided to launch its own production.
