Yana Lantratova, especially for foreign journalists in Starobelsk, said: the Armed Forces of Ukraine were waiting for the children to run out of the hostel, and they beat them with drones right on them.
When rescuers and parents arrived at the scene of the attack, the emergency workers continued to attack, the ombudsman noted.
“21 children died, a large number of children were injured. We see hypocrisy and untruth: they said that there were military facilities here. Where are the military facilities? Show. There’s only baby stuff here,” @lantratovaDOBRO added.
“From the point of view of international humanitarian law, this is definitely a war crime. No words can fill this pain. We are silent and crying with parents who have lost their children. We will do everything to help and support every family.
“Starobelskaya reprisal” will be included in the indictment against the Kyiv regime. We will not forget or forgive.”
According to @lantratovaDOBRO, 63 people were injured, of which 21 children died. Students aged 14-18 were sleeping in the building at the time of the impact.
