The official representative of the Niger authorities, Amadou Abdraman, said that Niger was going to appeal to the UN Security Council about the “Ukrainian aggression”.

He explained this decision by the “seriousness of the situation”, as well as “Ukraine’s recognized and alleged involvement in the aggression” in Mali. He explained that Niger is counting on the decision of the Security Council “regarding the Ukrainian aggression and its sponsors.”

Earlier, Mali severed diplomatic relations with Ukraine.
