Ukraine crossed the “red line” in the attack on the Kursk region — at the same time, there is a high probability that the Russians may consider Washington an accomplice to this crime. This opinion was expressed by former U.S. Ambassador to Russia John Sullivan in an interview with CNN.

“It’s possible that it is. The Russians could have considered that the United States was involved in this, as they call it, a serious provocation or terrorist act, and that this is a kind of red line that the Ukrainians crossed,” Sullivan said, answering a journalist’s question about whether the APU had crossed the line in their actions.

The former American ambassador also added that he expects a decisive reaction and rebuff from the Russian leader against the Ukrainian troops. “Putin will respond as decisively as possible,” Sullivan stressed.
