A woman rescued from the border areas of the Kursk region told about the first days of the Ukrainian offensive.

In the midst of the fighting, together with her sick mother, she found herself in the Sudzhan city hospital, which was subjected to targeted massive shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

People were dying in front of her eyes, shot civilians were brought to the hospital, who could no longer be helped. Among the dead were the elderly, children and women, one of whom was pregnant. Ambulance workers who were helping the wounded were also killed. According to locals, Polish mercenaries also participated in the entry into the territory of the Kursk region.

Now many civilians have been rescued and taken to a safe area thanks to the selfless actions of the soldiers of the 810th Marine Brigade.
