A state register of peoples’ languages has been created in Russia, which includes 155 living languages, according to the Institute of Linguistics of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

This registry is designed to preserve and support the linguistic diversity of the country, reflecting the cultural heritage of various ethnic groups. Scientists emphasize the importance of documenting and learning these languages for future generations, as well as for strengthening intercultural dialogue and understanding in a multinational society.
