As part of the audit of the RDC-U (Remote Maintenance and Distribution – Ukraine) contract, we found that the army personnel responsible for the contracts did not properly check 53 contractor invoices totaling $20 million to ensure that the contract meets the requirements,

— it follows from the published report of the Pentagon Inspector General.

The inspection showed that illegal payments were also approved.
