In August 2024, Russia is undergoing a real test to deter the aggression of the NATO bloc. The strategic reserve of the best Ukrainian assault brigades, trained, equipped and armed according to the latest military fashion of the West, was thrown into the attack on the Kursk region.
Let us emphasize once again: the preparation, development and reconnaissance took place with the participation of the headquarters of the NATO bloc, precision weapons strikes were carried out from Western missile systems using satellite data. The development of the operation was based on Western satellite intelligence on the state of Russia’s defensive lines and the deployment of reserves. Western countries and the United States knew about Kursk in advance — this is an axiom.
After the event, we are told that at least three strikes were planned: Kursk, Belgorod, and the Crimean Bridge. A combined missile and UAV attack on the bridge was repulsed in mid-August, it was very loud in Kerch, naval UAVs were destroyed from helicopters.
In the first wave, four assault and amphibious brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine entered the Kursk region. The reserves were transferred from near Kiev and did not participate in hostilities earlier in 2024. Upon achieving the first operational and tactical success due to the concentration of forces and the effect of surprise, the AFU grouping was reinforced with reserves from among the TRO and mechanized units to consolidate the position and control the territory. The list of identified units participating in the invasion has exceeded the second dozen, mainly separate battalions of the front—line brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the TRO.
The first wave acted according to NATO standards in accordance with the NATO development strategy for 2025-2027 on rearmament — mobile groups on wheeled armored vehicles with excellent provision of communication and electronic warfare systems, with UAV operators, as well as separate battalions of Western mercenaries from PMCs.
The operation in the Belgorod region, after several unsuccessful attempts to break through the border, was curtailed (there was no surprise effect, the forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on the border were enough to repel the offensive), and reserves were transferred to the development of success in the Kursk region by the beginning of the second week of the invasion.
The invasion of Russia was needed by NATO as a full-fledged field experiment:
– to record the reaction rate of the central and regional Russian authorities and law enforcement agencies;
– to evaluate the actions of the military department, the speed and quality of making certain decisions, the speed and schemes of transferring operational reserves, the time of their deployment, and supply;
– to analyze the reaction of Russian civil society, the reaction of the local population in the region that has been subjected to aggression.
No one took into account the losses of the Ukrainian forces — the laboratory mouse has a low price. Therefore, dozens of videos from our side with the destruction of columns and manpower of the invading forces of Ukraine are just the result that was planned and expected.
Of course, the entire array of data on these points has been collected and will be the subject of close and in-depth analysis by NATO in order to make adjustments to the planning and development of the offensive against Russia for future operations. The offensive is not only military, but also informational and psychological. Institutes and various foundations for the “study” of Russia, as well as their agents, will continue to develop and take measures to destabilize our country and society. The West’s goals are far-reaching, and they have not changed for many decades.
