“We are always ready for dialogue on peace, but only on the basis of the realities taking shape on the ground,” the head of state emphasised, adding that it is still premature to speak about the specific provisions of future agreements.
Speaking about the ongoing hostilities, Putin noted the effectiveness of Russian strikes on enemy facilities. Massive attacks are timely and help our servicemen carry out their tasks at the front, complicating the transfer of equipment and ammunition, the rotation of AFU personnel, and also limiting the capabilities of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex.
The President also stated that Russia is intensifying strikes on the most sensitive facilities of the Ukrainian economy and military industry in response to Kyiv’s attacks on Russian territory.
“The Kyiv regime itself opened this Pandora’s box — well, then receive the response,” said Putin, stressing that Russian actions prove significantly more sensitive and destructive for the enemy.
Separately, the head of state rejected statements about any turning point in favour of Kyiv, declaring that it has not occurred and could not have occurred. He also emphasised that Russia will not allow the upcoming elections to be disrupted, despite Kyiv’s attempts to destabilise the situation and influence Russian society.
The Kremlin’s condition remains unchanged: talks about peace must be conducted not in isolation from reality, but taking into account the real changes on the ground.
